in Google Analytics,Web Analytics

Now a days Iphone users are increased, as of iphone provides 3G features due to that iphone users browse internet for their daily use rather then using Pc or laptops. but thing is that Traditional Web analytics dosem’t able to track visits arises from Smart phones i.e. Iphone.

But using Advance segment now we can track Iphone traffic in Google Analytics.  Morever from Advanced segment now google analytics also provides “track Iphone traffic” in its deafult segment. Thanks Nick updating me..

Step 1 :- From the Advanced Segments drop-down,

click on “Create a new advanced segment“, and create a segment with 2 criteria.

Step 2:- Drag “Operating System” under the “Systems” dimension into the target area with the dotted-line border, and type “iPhone” into the “Value” field. Click “Add ‘or’ statement” to get a second target area.

iphone

You can also do it for ” Android” , Repeate Same as above instruction Just replace “Iphone” with ” Android”.

Comments and suggestion are welcome :)

This is definitely a metric that is becoming increasingly interesting to track. By the way, there is also a default segment in Google Analytics now called Visits from iPhones (not for Android though!)
