How to create google analytics custom reports ?

Since last couple of days i was working on customization of google analytics reports apart from my seo work so blogging time was conflicted. From now onwards i’ll be post some couple of blog post on Google analytics customization reports.

Today we’ll go step by step for creating Google Analytics Customized Reports.

Step 1:- Click on Create Custom Report for creating custom report.

Step 2:- Select Dimensions and Metrics as per selected in below image and click on Create Report.

Now Google Analytics Custom Report is ready to use. This report shows as below image on Dimension of Source/Medium.

After wards you can click on Google/Organic Dimension for getting more details of Visitor Navigation Analysis as per below image.

Using this report  you can get information about each keywords i.e how many visitors came from this keywords.

Using this report you can get information of visitor type whether its new or unique for Single keyword.and click on New visitor or Returning visitors. I’ve been clicked on returning visitor afterward click on Landing Page Dimension as illustrated in below image.

Using above dashboard report you can get information about landing page and Exit page of particular keyword.

This Google Analytics Custom Report will help you for getting exact data such as on which keywords how many visitor came from them how many are new visitor or how many are returning visitors, some information about Landing page and last visited page and time on page.

This report will give you in-depth analysis of visitor’s navigation on website i.e. from where visitor came or from where visitor exit the page. This will help you out for deciding which pages were optimized properly or not, which page needs attentions of marketing team for proper optimization.

Google Analytics is becoming more user friendly & now with Custom Reports, Advance Segmentation & Advance filters , it becomes the first choice for many Internet Marketing Professionals over a number of other free softwares.

Moreover, Google Analytics certified companies like Tatvic have taken the initiatives & created the customization tool to extend the GA to daily routine XL sheets. Which will help a lot to a common user to play with the GA data & create a customized report.

Thanks for this good post on creating Custom reports in Google Analytics, It will really help for the beginners in the industry.
